University of York

It is a lovely city and all the time you spend there will be worthwhile. You can go around the city to visit its famous Viking and Roman historical sites, which are so amazing, and also the grandeur York Minster, which is the most magnificent cathedral in Northern England. Enjoy the different academic life there and exchange your thoughts with both your professors and classmates, which will help you develop a deeper insight in your specialized area.

It is really recommended to join any languages course and student club, which will broaden your horizons, enrich your spare time and get you involved in the new environment as soon as possible. What is most important is to keep an open mind, try to communicate with different people and lay down all the prejudice, as the small city is a melting pot of different people and cultures, and then you will find yourselves more exposed to the whole world and fall in love with the city.
